All approved models must comply, in all respects, with the USSSA Ball Performance Standards. Any unit that fails to meet these standards is noncompliant and is not permitted in USSSA or GSL sanctioned play.
In addition to the requirement that a model must comply, in all respects, with the USSSA Ball Performance Standards, to be eligible for USSSA Sanctioned play, the USSSA Certification Marks and all other graphics must be applied permanently, and may only be applied by a current USSSA-licensed manufacturer. The use of stickers or decals is prohibited, and no additional graphics may be added to a ball after manufacturing. A ball with graphics not applied by the licensed manufacturer is an “altered ball”, is Non-Compliant and is subject to suspension under the USSSA Altered Ball rules.
