The Select30 Program

What is the Select30 Program?

The Select30 program is the most comprehensive player identification program in the country.  The S30 is managed by former professional players, current and former college coaches, current and former scouts, and baseball industry experts. Throughout the season, during the course of the Select30 Super NIT Series hosted across the country players will be invited to participate in the S30 Championships August 2 – 8, 2020 at the USSSA Space Coast Complex in Viera, Florida. Players participating in the 9U – 12U divisions will attend August 2 – 6 with Top Prospect Games on August 6. Players participating in the 13U & 14U divisions will attend August 4 – 8 with Top Prospect Games on August 8.

To assist with the player identification efforts, Team Managers participating in a Select30 Super NIT 9U – 14U will be able to place their top players onto the ‘Watch List’ prior to each event. The ‘Watch List’ will be taken into consideration when identifying players for the Select30 Program, however, the ‘Watch List’ does not automatically qualify a player for the Select30 Program or inhibit a player not on the list from being selected to participate.

What are the S30 Championships?

At the S30 Championships, players will go through daily workouts administered by the Select30 Task Force and former Professional Players.  This formal instruction will include position specific fundamental work centered around infield, outfield, pitching, and hitting with the center focus being on quality and understanding the ‘why’ behind everything the athlete is doing.  In addition to the fundamental work each morning, participants will also play scouted instructional games each afternoon.  At the conclusion of the workouts and games, former Professional Players along with the Select30 Task Force will choose two 15 player teams in each age division to play in the S30 Top Prospect Games on either August 6 (9U – 12U) or August 8 (13U &14U).

Does my child need an invite or is it open to all players?

There are no open ‘Tryouts’ for the S30 Program. Invitations will be awarded to individuals playing in a one of the Select30 Super NIT’s hosted across the country. Also, players can receive an invite from a USSSA All American Tryout or can request an invite from the Select30 Administration. Chosen players will receive an email inviting them to participate in the S30 Championships at their respective age level.
