What’s New on USSSA.com

With the launch of the new USSSA.com site, we have several features that have been added for teams, players, and parents/guardians.  See below to view information on some of the new tools and features:

Team Management Area

• Additional Team Admins/Contacts [READ MORE]:
  • You can now set multiple Admins or Contacts on a team to handle a variety of tasks that you assign
• Team Details & Photos:
  • You can now attach a logo to your team for display on the site
  • You have a “shortname” for use in connected scorekeeping apps and additional display functions.
  • You can input your Social Media accounts to your team
• New “Legacy” Team Registration Function (Coming Soon)
  • You can carry a team from one season to the next and the team information from one season to the next.

General Site Functions

• Recently Visited
  • You have a recently visited section in the left corner of the site.  This section allows you to track (relative to that device) what you have recently looked at for:
    • Events
    • Teams
    • Players
    • Searches
  • You can keep handy all tournaments that your team or players are registered in, upcoming opponents, rivals, or possible events you are watching for entry.
• Responsive Website
  • The site will adapt to the device you are on (desktop, laptop, tablet, or phone) and automatically resize and adjust the functionality based on that size.
• Event Search Functions
  • New search function allows a team to search for a greater list of criteria to narrow your search to specifically what you are looking for.
  • If you redo your search, it will save your criteria and allow you to edit one item at a time to adjust your search.
• Event News Feed [READ MORE]
  • This tool on each event will organize all updates and information from a tournament director or event into one location.  Keep track of all updates in one place now.
• Game Center
  • All things game related for events are now found under the “Game Center”.
    • Pool Play Schedules
    • Bracket Schedules
    • Division Results
    • Pitching Reports (Baseball only)
• Enhanced Information Display
  • More information than ever in one location!  For each game, you can see the information and statistics of each team playing (non-mobile versions) including Points, Power Rating, Streak, and Last 10!
  • Team Pages include more detail and statistics:
    • State and National Rankings in Points and Power Ranking
    • Last 10 & Last 25 games, andcurrent streak
    • Team record in Pool Games, Bracket Games, and when facing Elimination.
  • Displaying all Upcoming Games scheduled for each team.
  • Team Logos are displayed in various locations.
